73 miljoner kronor från Cancerfonden till forskare på MEB

Cancerfonden har beslutat om forskningsanslagen för 2025. Omkring 73 miljoner kronor tilldelas forskare vid Institutionen för medicinsk epidemiologi och biostatistik vid Karolinska Institutet.

- Therese Andersson – får 4 500 000 kronor för projektet "Extensions and applications of excess hazards models and life expectancy estimation"
- Kamila Czene – får 9 000 000 kronor för projektet "Unraveling genetic and mammographic pathways of breast cancer progression: from benign lesions to metastatic disease"
- Jana de Boniface – får 6 000 000 kronor för projektet "De-escalation of axillary surgery in patients with breast cancer and nodal metastases: SENOMAC goes SENOMAC-ULTRA"
- Paul Dickman – får 4 500 000 kronor för projektet "Extrapolating cancer patient survival with applications in health technology assessment"
- Anna Johansson – får 3 000 000 kronor för projektet "The influence of socioeconomic inequalities and reproductive factors on the risk and survival of breast cancer subtypes – enhancing the use of Nordic cancer registry data"
- Paul Lambert – får 4 500 000 kronor för projektet "Improving the utility of cancer registry data: Novel statistical methods to better quantify and understand survival differences between groups and regions"
- Tobias Nordström – får 4 500 000 kronor för projektet "From Trial to Tailored Screening – studies to inform future early detection of prostate cancer with a focus on long-term results and the elder population"
- Trung Nghia Vu – får 3 000 000 kronor för projektet "Data-driven approaches for repurposing drug combination for cancer treatment"
