Föreläsningar och seminarier Workshop: Methods in Pharmacoepidemiology Drug Utilization Studies
Organized by The Doctoral Programme in Epidemiology at KI
Description: This workshop will provide insight into drug utilization measures (incidence, prevalence, adherence/persistence) for individual-level drug dispensing data, and will be an interactive mix of theory and hands-on analysis, interpretation, and visualization. We will provide real-world examples of why first investigating the patterns of use of your drug/drug class of interest in the study population is important for informing your pharmacoepidemiology research questions and study designs.
Who is this workshop for? This workshop is aimed primarily for doctoral students at KI in pharmacoepidemiology, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health and other health-related fields, but postdocs and other researchers at KI are also welcome. Participants should have prior knowledge of introductory-level epidemiology and biostatistics, and are required to bring a computer with R, Stata, or SAS installed.
In-person participation only.
