An app-reply a day keeps the doctor away: digital postoperative support and follow up
This presentation will focus on clinical issues such as follow up and support to patients that have undergone an operation. The developmental process of an it-solution and the effects of it and how it is experienced by patients in their postoperative period. The presentation will also highlight how age, sex, metal health and health literality influence patients’ quality of postoperative recovery.

Of ligands, receptors, pharmacology, human therapy and wind mills
Gunnar Schulte, also called “Mr Frizzled”, is Professor in Receptor Pharmacology at the Department of Physiology & Pharmacology at Karolinska Institutet. While he studies information flow initiated by G protein-coupled receptors, he has focused on a rather exotic and unexplored group of receptors, the Class Frizzled receptors mediating effects of WNT and Hedgehog proteins. Despite a general disbelief in the field, Gunnar Schulte investigates the function of Class F receptors as G protein-coupled receptors with the aim to exploit the new knowledge of receptor activation mechanisms for developing new drugs and potential therapies for human disease.
