Föreläsningar och seminarier TARGET: a reporting guideline for studies emulating a target trial
Join us for a presentation from Harrison Hansford, PhD student at the University of New South Wales, on work he has been doing on the TARGET guideline.

It has been suggested that non-randomised (observational) tudies of interventions should aim to mimic the design characteristics of a randomised trial – the target trial. The target trial framework was developed to help researchers follow these design characteristics to avoid common designrelated biases. Target trial emulations are being increasingly published in medicine however their reporting is poor.
Harrison will discuss how target trial emulation has been implemented in the medical literature to date and describe the development and content of the first reporting guideline for these studies, TARGET.
