Publikation i JNCI: Volumetric mammographic density: heritability and association with breast cancer susceptibility Loci

I en publikation i Journal of the National Cancer Institute presenterar Judith Brand et al från MEB en studie om ärftligheten av mammografiska täthet och kopplingen till bröstcancerrisk. Resultaten bekräftar att mammografisk täthet har hög ärftlighet, och påvisar även att den gemensamma genetiska komponenten dememellan inte är begränsad till endast täta vävnader.
