Annan Workshop inom AI och Life Science
Välkommen till en workshop som syftar till att etablera ett ramverk, identifiera samarbetsområden och skapa en färdplan för AI/ML-forskning inom Life Science mellan Sverige och Brasilien. Workshopen är ett samarbete mellan KI, KTH, USP och CAMPINAS.
Background:
In November 2023 a Brazilian-Swedish Workshop on AI/ML in Life Science and Engineering (see attached summery) was organized in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The aim of the workshop was to explore opportunities for transdisciplinary research collaborations between Sweden and Brazil while involving companies and authorities in both interaction and funding. A particular focus was placed on including start-up companies and health care organizations with large data sets from patients including electronic health record and image repositories with opportunities for data mining. Another aspect was to highlight how AI and ML can be used in promoting healthy living extending into smart cities. The workshop was made possible with support from KI, SeRC, KTH, USP, Cisb, ITA and Unicamp.

Development of road map and timeline to achieve goals (planning of lobbying work, plan for innovation week 11-13 November).
