Bill Lucas - Professor of Learning
Director Centre for Real-World Learning at the University of Winchester
Director Fellowship Learning The Healthcare Studies Institute, Cambridge University.
Topics:
In this talk Bill will outline his five dimensional model of improvement as a way of rethinking the challenge of improving healthcare systems. While habits are complementary to and not alternatives to knowledge and skills, they offer a useful way of framing the challenge of improving systems like health.
Bill will explore implications for training, leadership development and quality improvement programmes. Participants will be invited to try out the model on themselves as part of the session!
Relevant to anyone working in and around health and social care or interested in adult learning. Lecture followed by discussion.
