Biography
Dr. Li Ye received his B.S. from Tsinghua University and did his Ph.D. on molecular metabolism with Dr. Bruce Spiegelman, Harvard Medical School. During his postdoc with Dr. Karl Deisseroth (Stanford University), he focused on developing activity-dependent and tissue clearing tools. Since 2018, his lab at The Scripps Research Institute has been developing and applying new interdisciplinary tools, ranging from tissue imaging, chemical biology, and molecular genetics, to better understand the interface of brain-body communication.
