"Drug induced redirection of intracellular information flow"

The Mulder lab investigates the mechanisms underlying human epidermal stem cell renewal & differentiation focusing on the epigenetic and non-coding RNA machineries. To study this, his lab developed new innovative technologies based on DNA-antibody conjugates e.g. ID-seq technology that allows us to quantify >80 (phospho-)proteins in hundreds of samples in a single experiment and RAID-seq that combines RNA and intracellular protein measurements from the same individual cell.

About the speaker

Klaas Mulder obtained his PhD from the University of Utrecht in 2006. After a post-doctoral period in the lab of Prof. Fiona Watt in Cambridge (UK) he arrived at the NCMLS in 2012 to head his independent research group.
