About Alexandra Davidsson

Alexandra Davidsson is the Secretary General of the Swedish Association for Responsible Consumption, a non-profit working to raise awareness of how consumers’ can make more sustainable and circular choices. Responsible Consumption also organizes the global circular campaign #whitemonday which reached over 74 million in 2019, in 23 countries. She has great experience within national and international humanitarian work and has held over 500 lectures within Circular Economy, Sustainable Consumption, Gender and Human Rights.

Prior to her current role she was working with the UN in New York and WFP in Rome and a EU-funded project called “Young Ambassadors for Human Rights”. Alexandra has 15 years experience of non-profit association work, most recently within the Board of Directors for The Swedish Consumers’ Association and currently within the advisory board of Smart Up Accelerator. Alexandra holds a Master’s degree in Global Studies with a focus on Conflict Resolution and Gender, and is described as diplomatic and a great PR-persona with a talent for inspiring people and she practices a value-based leadership. She has a great deal of experience within national media (TV, radio, newspapers etc) and is a well-versed representative.
