The Nobel Conference No. 72 | Microglia in the Healthy and Diseased Brain will bring together leading international experts to discuss the diverse and dynamic roles of microglia in the central nervous system. The scientific program will cover key aspects of microglial biology, including their involvement in: brain development, neurodevelopmental disorders, neurodegenerative diseases and brain neoplasms.
This two-day meeting aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and promote new insights into how microglial states contribute to both brain health and disease progression.
The conference is organized by Bertrand Joseph and Klas Blomgren at Karolinska Institutet.
Due to limited capacity at the Nobel Forum, participation is restricted. Only confirmed registered participants will be able to attend the conference.
