Annan Lunchpresentation: Planetary Health and Sustainable Healthcare in Higher Education

Welcome to a lunch seminar and an optional following practical workshop with Associate Professor Stefi Barna from the Sustainable Healthcare Education Network.

The SHE Network is an international group of clinicians, academics and students preparing health professionals to produce an environmentally sustainable health service.

Stefi Barna is co-founder of the Sustainable Healthcare Education network which supports health professional schools to incorporate planetary health and sustainable healthcare teaching into curricula. She is Associate Professor of Public Health and Sustainability at Azim Premji University (India), and teaches planetary health at Queen Mary University of London (UK) and medical peace work for the University of Bergen (Norway). She previously directed public health teaching at Norwich Medical School, University of East Anglia (UK). Her academic background is in medical history (UC Berkeley) and international public health (UCLA).
