Föreläsningar och seminarier Könsskillnader i kognitivt åldrande – vilka är de viktigaste mekanismerna?
Denna tredje workshop syftar till att ge en översikt över de potentiella mekanismerna bakom könsskillnader vid demens, med fokus på de genetiska och biologiska mekanismerna (immunsvar/inflammation, könshormoner och kromosom och vaskulär). Workshopen är uppdelad i två delar och hålls på engelska.

In PART 1, three international speakers will summarize past and present of sex-hormones, genetic and immune response, and vascular mechanisms underlying sex-differences in dementia. In PART 2, the three speakers plus expertise-matched speakers from KI will discuss how future research in sex-related biological mechanisms should move forward and potential collaborations.
