Föreläsningar och seminarier How does qualitative research fit into systematic reviews?
Join us for the PHS/BIGH quali’ seminar series on Qualitative Evidence Synthesis (QES) and learn how to systematically draw together evidence from qualitative research. QES is a growing field and recommended by the WHO as a key method for informing decision-making, guidelines and policy. Priority given to PhD students and postdocs from PHS, but all others interested are welcome to attend.
The PHS quali seminar series is supported by the Doctoral Programme of Biology of Infections and Global Health (BIGH). The goal of the seminars is to provide a space for PhD students to learn about (new) qualitative methods. It is also an opportunity for students to receive feedback on their research from peers and experts via engaging lectures and discussions. Basic knowledge of qualitative methodology is required.
The seminar series consists of 3 interactive workshops with experts in the field:
- 1 October – How does qualitative research fit into systematic reviews? 13-15 (Room 4170)
- 23 October – Methods for qualitative evidence synthesis, 13-16 (Room 4170)
- 11 November – Assessing confidence in the evidence, 13-16 (Room 4231)
Speaker: Dr. Anna Kågesten, Postdoctoral Researcher, Karolinska Institutet
