Scalable taxonomy classification of high-throughput sequencing data and machine learning
This doctoral work focuses on developing scalable, machine-learning–enhanced pipelines for taxonomy classification of large-scale sequencing data. The project integrates high-performance computing and deep learning to enable accurate detection of known and novel microorganisms in complex metagenomic datasets such as wastewater sequencing.
