Welcome to the kick-off of a new network aimed at autism researchers across different departments at KI! The aim of the event is for us to meet each other, hear about perspectives of the autistic community on autism research, and to give PIs an opportunity to talk about what their group works on.

We hope to initiate a network for researcher focusing on different aspects of autism at KI to increase the interactions, discussions, and transdisciplinary research projects. Also, INSAR2023 at Stockholm (hosted by Prof Sven Bölte/KIND) is approaching which will provide even better possibilities for networking.

For this we have planned a kick-off meeting on the 8th of December with a lecture from Professor Liz Pellicano (University College London, UK), a possibility for PIs to present the focus of their projects within autism field and brainstorming on activities that could be arranged at KI. We will also have refreshments and mingle afterwards.
