EU-anslag från JPND till forskare vid NVS

Tre forskare vid NVS har fått beviljade anslag från EU Joint Programme – Neurodegenerative Disease Research (JPND).

Miia Kivipelto, koordinator: MIND-AD: Multimodal preventive trials for Alzheimer’s Disease: towards multinational strategies

Maria Ankarcrona, koordinator: CeBioN: Cellular Bioenergetics in Neurodegenerative Diseases: A system-based pathway and target analysis

Caroline Graff, partner: PreFrontAls: Searching for therapeutic interventions in frontotemporal dementia with C9ORF72 repeat expansions in the presymptomatic stage, and DAMNDPATHS: Elucidation of common transcriptional targets in vulnerable DopAmine, MotorNeuron and frontotemporal Dementia disease PATHwayS

The projects are supported under two JPND transnational calls for proposals entitled:

• A call for European research projects for Cross-Disease Analysis of Pathways related to Neurodegenerative Diseases
• A call for European research projects for pilot studies on preventive strategies related to Neurodegenerative Diseases
