New conference equipment facilitates travel-free meetings
To reduce the need for business travel, the IT Office can now offer two packages of conference equipment. To work remotely, you can use the tools Zoom and Teams.
The new conference equipment is a so-called all in one, where camera, speaker and microphone are included. It requires no mounting, but you connect directly to your computer via USB.
There are two alternatives, depending on how many people participate in the meeting. You can find the equipment in the order portal Wisum at ”Produkter & tjänster”, ”IT-produkter / telefoni”, ”KI – resfria möten”.
Software for remote meetings and collaboration
There are two programs that, combined with the conference equipment, make it easy to hold travel-free meetings.
- Zoom is a simple and user-friendly tool that you can use to set up remote meetings.
- Teams is part of Office 365 and allows you to collaborate on documents, share common notes or integrate other apps for collaboration. Teams is currently available to you whose email account has been moved to Office 365.
The IT Support is trained within both Teams and Zoom and can provide support for the both recommended conference equipment.
